Fragment of a book of burials of free individuals registered in the Church of Nossa Senhora do Amparo de Maricá-RJ. Entries date from 30 Dec 1851 through 13 Mar 1852. There are no opening or closing charters. Entries were signed by Vicar Alfredo; many of the entries lack the signature of the priest who performed the baptism. A number of burials of children are recorded in this volume; one of the decedents was a native ("natural") of Rio Bonito. Physical characteristics: The volume consists of a single, uncovered, crumpled, and torn folio. Dimensions: 35.5cm x 25.5cm. Owner(s) of original material: Arquivo da Cúria Metropolitana de Niterói.
