This volume records burials of children born to enslaved mothers after the passage of the Free Womb Law and registered in the Church of São João Batista (Baptista) de Icaraí (Carahy, Carii, Carahi). Entries date from 06 May 1872 through 19 Oct 1887. Antonio Andre Lima signed the opening charters on 01 May 1872. Folios 75-198 are blank. The volume documents a pastoral visit conducted on 06 Dec 1884 by the Bishop of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro.
