This volume contains burial records of freed (forro) and free individuals registered in the Church of São João Batista (Baptista) de Icaraí (Carahy, Carii, Carahi) between 17 Jul 1872 and 27 Dec 1874. The opening and closing charters were signed by João da Costa Lima e Castro, Judge of Law of the First Civil Court, on 11 Jul 1872.
