Contains a collection of three ephemeral Mandinka Ajami texts. The first is a Mandinka calendar with the twelve months of the year and the days in each month. The second document teaches Mandinka Ajami literates the Arabic alphanumeric system. The last text is a letter sent to the father of the current manuscript owner.
Custodial history: The owner inherited the texts from his father, Aliou Cisse, who inherited the calendar and the alphanumeric system from his grandfather, Fode Koumba Cisse.
