Mandinka Ajami Devotional Poetry

Transliterated title: Mandinkakaŋ Suukuwo.

Contains a collection of three Mandinka Ajami poems. The first poem enjoins Mandinka people to strive to be exemplary Muslims, who follow the teachings of Islam. According to the owner, the poem is used when praying for the deceased loved ones in the community. The second poem emphasizes the importance of Islamic ethics and morality. The third poem is a hagiography of Prophet Muḥammad, beginning before his birth and ending after his death.

Custodial history: The two first poems were written by the owner. The third one was written by Aladji Ibrahima Drame.
