Transliterated title: Mandinkakaŋ Suukuwo.
The manuscript is an Ajami poem that promotes the Mandinka language. The author was inspired by the work of the renowned Mandinka scholar, Alpha Diadji. Besides praising God and urging people to follow His injunctions, the poet adopts Diadji’s poetic style to deal with current issues in his community, including the importance of writing and speaking one's own language.
