Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 45C

The manuscript No.45C is written in a notebook with blue cover. The size is 21 x 16.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side, but the writing is still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais describes historical facts about his life and his teachings. He was arrested by dutch colonial government. Not finding guilty, he was imprisoned. He said “If you hate me, you can arrest me.” “Let this become historical witness although it was not found my fault”. He wished for not long time staying in prison. Being unemployed, he had lot of debts. While in prison, he kept writing. His writing contains messages how to conduct life. His strengths came from the trust from The Giver of life and spirit to vibrate the senses called Rasa Jagat. He also felt sorry when in prison seeing a horse drawn carriage driver who was seriously sick, blood vomiting and at last passed away. The prison guards did not care about him.
