Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 29

The manuscript No.29 is written in a set of loose folios. The size is 34 x 21.5 cm and 35 x 21.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle, perforated, taped and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side, but the writing is still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais describes historical facts about his life in Ducth colonial era, his teachings, his activities in agriculture and the way to treat placenta after birth. In the Dutch colonial era, he was exhiled to Merauke on charges of theft and robbery. It was happened because many people slander and wanted him imprisoned. He also was accused to embrace the false religion. Then he denied it by describing that the religion he held was religion of Java, culture of Sunda based on God’s decree. The religion of Sunda practices self-observing to be conscious on the true identity, nations and motherland. What to be upright in Javanese religion is the truth law of God’s decree as life guide for human beings in whole the world. In his agricultural activities, he planted rice, onion and nuts. The way to treat the placenta after birth is after the placenta is cut and cleaned, then it is wrapped by silk cotton and completed by gold coin.
