Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 179

The manuscript No.179 is written in a set of loose folios. There are two sizes of paper; 33 x 21.5 cm and 34.5 x 21.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side, but the writing is still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais writes his teachings. For peace of country, people have to unite, live in harmony and realize as part of nation that have responsibilities to keep all the wealthiness of country. He also asked for statement letter of his family genealogy which state that he is a descendant of Tumenggung Jaya Dipura and Prince Girilaya. It was for the evident that brought to Betawi. Besides, he explains how to treat dead person in tradition of Java.
