Prince Madrais Alibasa Manuscript No. 83

The manuscript No.83 is written in a set of loose folios. There are two sizes of paper; 35 x 21.5 cm and 32.5 x 21.5 cm. The condition of paper is brittle, taped, torn and yellowing. The ink penetrates to the reverse side, but the writing is still readable. In this manuscript, Prince Madrais writes his genealogy. Dutch colonial government accused him using the false prince title. He described that he got a recognition letter from his father. He is a descendant of Sutajaya from Gebang. He must have left from Gebang palace, hidden and lost his nobility title so none know who he was actually. His mother must have pretended as a wife of Cigugur head village witnessed by Head village of Dukuh dalem Pagebangan and Raden Kloter, a wedana of Lebak wangi which adopted his mother as a daughter.
