The manuscript contains a life of St. Onuphrius (4th century, the memory on the 12th of June). The text was written after 17th century, because it mentions the side-altar after St. Onuphrius in the St. Catherine tsar's home church. There is a title of one of the stories on the cover, about the meeting of the hermit and an old anchorite, who lived in the cave.

На обложку вынесено название одного эпизода жития: о том, как отшельник встречает в пустыне старца-подвижника, живущего в пещере.
Extent: 1 volume containing 9 folios + 2 modern folios put in after restoration.
Size and dimensions of original material: Height 19,2 cm, width 11,7 cm, depth 0,7 cm.
Condition of original material: The manuscript was restored in 1979. A new binding from cardboard and linen was made. All folios were pasted up.
Custodial history: The manuscript was collected during the archeographical expedition to the Kargopol region in 1965.
