During a period of widespread disease, Tsering Dondup's grandfather went to West Kameng and was living in a tent. This thangka suffered damage from rain during this period.. Creation dates: Mid 19th Century. Date suggested by the owner. Custodial history: An old thangka handed down within his family, perhaps from the time of his great grandfather, the first performer in his lineage.
