Size including the cloth surround 161 x 90 cm. 100 cm wide at the bottom. Image (melong) size 83 x 59.5 cm. Age 35- 40 years. Finely detailed and in good condition overall with some paint loss throughout due to creasing. Unidentified central figure. Painted by Norbu Sangpo, the son of Buchen Norgyal and Ani Buchen Passang Dolma (also according to Zsóka Gelle).. Creation dates: Late 20th Century. Custodial history: An object donated to Dolma Ling nunnery by Buchen Gyurme. This thangka can be seen in a photograph by Zsóka Gelle (2000 presumably in Kollegal) in her Essay Masters of the Mani Mantra in the volume Demons and Protectors.
