Custodial history: An item owned by the current owner Passang Dolma and her late husband. A relatively modern thangka copied from an older painting owned by the couple and passed down through generations of Lama Mani. Because of its poor condition, caused by many years of use, rolled up and carried between performances, unrolled and exposed to weather and strong light, the older painting was eventually interred in a stupa and replaced by a copy. Painted by Norbu Sangpo, the son of Buchen Norgyal and Ani Buchen Passang Dolma.

Extent and format of original material: One narrative scroll painting / thangka.

Owner(s) of original material: Passang Dolma and her late husband Buchen Norgye.
