Letter of Greetings from King NJOYA to the Mfonmenyan at Njilum [21 Sep 1932]

Leaves: 1; Pages: 2; Measurements: 21cm x 23.7cm; Dates 21 September 1932; Script: Akauku Mfemfe; Condition: Good; Comments: Includes the official seal of King NJOYA; “Mfonmenyan” was Njoya’s official in charge of trading activities, and he was a prominent merchant based at Njilum; the fact that such letters remained in the possession of NJI MAMA indicate that he personally communicated the communications of King NJOYA while the King was in exile and kept the original communications. Note that NJI MAMA collection of the kings letters are the only known collection of his original writings during his time in exile from 1931-1933.
