The photographs feature the following subjects: Khakassia, Tuva, shamns, yurts, national dress, the Kamyshta river, Khakass, Tubintsy (Kyrgiz), hunting, horse riding, Lake Shira, Abakan river, musical instruments, grave sites.

"The original negatives are generally in a poor condition, and most show signs of emulsion damage. At least two different classmarks have been identified by the EAP016 project, although so far no research has been done to verify and record the references.".
