Aims and objectives
This project will digitise and make available online official paper documents related to Ninawah Governorate in northern Iraq, mostly during the monarchical reign (1921-58). The documents are written by hand or typed in Arabic script and are held by the Mosul Studies Centre of Mosul University. The documents relate to: the Ministry of Education, the municipality of Mosul, and the Administrative Council of Mosul Liwa. The archive material also contains literary, economic, scientific, social and folkloric material dating to the Ottoman period.
