Aims and objectives

Digitisation of the ecclesiastical archive of the Oratory of San Felipe Neri de Puebla with contents from the 17th to the 19th century.

The documents from the Oratorio archive are invaluable material for understanding the social and ecclesiastical evolution of the ancient City of Puebla, Mexico, the Viceroyalty of New Spain.

The archive houses a large number of unique and varied handwritten documents that have not been studied, transcribed, or published. With ecclesiastical, judicial, daily life, administrative, testamentary, artistic documents, etc. They provide a large amount of information for the development of new research and publications.
