Sample photographs [late 19th Century-early 20th Century]

Digital images of Iranian photographs taken in and around Iran in the late 19th to the early 20th centuries. Unfortunately, information about the provenance, context and subjects of the photographs is largely unknown, and so the information in this catalogue is necessarily incomplete. Photographers and dates have been identified below, where known.
